 "Hello, this is DJ V, and you are listening live to Late Night Love Talk by MBC Daegu. Tonight, tonight will be the first time that I will be chatting with a repeat caller from several weeks ago. Everyone knows him by the name of Justin Seagull.

But before I continue with the show tonight, let's set off the mood for tonight's show with a song by BTS. Let's listen to Love Maze. Again, this is DJ V, and you are tuning to Late Night Love Talk.

After three commercials. "Welcome back, it's DJ V of Late Night Love Talk. But hey, wait, instead of chatting, Justin wanted to call instead. As the staff calls him, let me read the first part of his letter. "Hi DJ V, It's me again, Justin. Finally I get to write to you again. Thank you for reading this letter from me. But before anything else. Can I be honest with you? I have been traveling, and I only let one of my best friends narrate your response, I haven't actually listened to your show yet." "It's okay, Justin, believe me. I haven't listened to my show either." Taehyung chuckled. This guy is interesting. As to why Taehyung took interest in reading this letter is still baffling with him and that chat thingy which now turned to a live call which is outside protocol. "Anyway, I have a boyfriend of three years. I am thinking of proposing to him, but lately, he has not been showing interest in me. I have been busy too with work and all as I travel all over Asia, but I make sure I always make time with him. Time. Time is really a valuable factor in making a relationship work, making any relationship work. More often than not, people give time for things or people that matter, and that should be emphasized. Justin is on the other line, but before we talk to him on the phone, let's listen to Torn by Natalie Imbruglia. This is DJ V, and thank you for tuning in to Late Night Love Talk." While the music is playing, Taehyung picks up the phone, "Hello Justin? This is DJ V. Are you there?" Jeongguk stilled. There was something oddly familiar about DJ V's voice. Jeongguk took a deep breath. He wrapped his phone with a bandana, hoping it would muffle his voice. "Hello, DJ V? This is Justin.' Jeongguk made his voice deeper. Taehyung frowned. His voice is muffled, as if he is trying to conceal his voice. "Hello. so welcome to my show. What made you change your mind?" "Well, my letter content, well my situation changed already." "What do you mean?" Taehyung got closer to the phone, anticipating. Something was familiar with Justin's voice. The more he spoke, the more curious Taehyung got. "Well, my letter said he was busy with another friend. Well, I saw him this morning, lip-locked, with the friend." "Hey, are you okay? I mean, with this call? Do you think we can push thru? I am kinda worried about you?" Taehyung asked. The song just finished playing in the background, and he played the five advertisement recording. "Yeah, I am perfectly fine." Jeongguk said. "As long as you are Justin, I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable with the show." Taehyung's voice was laced with concern for the caller. Jeongguk found this oddly sweet, never had Seojoon show affection to him like this. Earlier had been a saving grace, though. He was planning to bring Seojoon to the mall to choose rings, maybe a couple ring, but he saw him got out of the aparrment, picked up by Hyungsik, Seojoon's old school mate. "Sure, I am not uncomfortable. In fact, I was quite relieved." "Why is that?" Taehyung asked. "Something was not right. For the past two years, I thought having a relationship with him was the best idea. In fact, he hardly gave me any time." Jeongguk said factually. "Commercial is over Justin, I will put you live." Taehyung quipped, still fascinated with his voice. DJ V: Welcome back, everyone. This is DJ V, and thank you for tuning in to Late Night Love Talk. On the other line, we have Justin Seagull. Hello Justin, welcome to Late Night Love Talk. JS: Yes, good evening, everyone. DJ V: So, originally Justin, your letter states that+ you have a boyfriend of three years and you were thinking of proposing to him but lately he has not been showing interest in you. How are you guys lately? Are you still in the same position? Taehyung was out of breath. This was the first time he had been excited. He can not pinpoint why. He does not know where the exhilaration is coming from. SJ: No, actually, because I finally confirmed that he was not interested in me anymore, just this morning. Jeongguk's felt a little clammy. Maybe because he is not used to a situation like this. However, there was something familiar with the DJ's voice that he felt comfortable talking with him. DJ V: And tell me, Justin, let's rewind from a few weeks ago when you sent in the letter. You have expressed permanence with your boyfriend. SJ: Yeah, well, one of my best friends said that I was still not over my first love, and my boyfriend was just a rebound. He meant the world to me. He was ideal and charming and amazing. He was confident for sure, and he was caring, well maybe in the beginning only. DJ V: I see. It's hard when we, the other end of the rope, the other partner, have already put them on a certain pedestal. I mean, there's a saying that Love is Blind but personally, I think that we change our perception to make them fit our ideal image as a person. But then when that thin film covering our eyes melts away, truth starts to take shape. We might experience it sooner or later, but I hope that somehow, when we do get into a relationship, it will be more trusting and less judging towards ourselves. Justin, I will play 'Everything You Want' by Vertical Horizon. You are listening to Late Night Love Talk, and this is DJ V. Taehyung doesn't usually speak to his callers during breaks, somehow. Usually, he takes the five minute breaks as a time to calm his mind, but tonight, something is different. "Hello, Justin?" "I am here. Hey DJ V, you want what's funny? I still haven't listened to the +l last episode I was featured in, my friend didn't record it." Jeongguk chuckled. "Aww, I am sorry to hear that. Let me see if I can find the recording and send it to you." "DJ V?" "Your voice is calming, you know?" Jeongguk stated. "Is it? I never thought of that." The last thirty seconds of the advertisement played, and Taehyung's heart started beating rapidly. 'Stop it, Taehyung. He is just a caller who got his heart broken. Get a hold of yourself.' Taehyung doesn't really know why he is feeling such a way. DJ V: And we are back. Tonight, we have Justin Seagull on the line as our guest. I am DJ V, and thank you for tuning in to Late Night Love Talk. So, Justin, you said earlier that everything was in the beginning only. Can you tell me why you think that? JS: Well, he swooped me off my feet after my first breakup, but it's not like that anymore, no. I don't think so. For two years, he's changed. Taehyung frowned. So this guy, took advantage of a weak and vulnerable heart. How dare he! Instead of just providing support, he took + advantage of it. What a troublemaker. DJ V: What do you think you could have done? JS: If I were to talk to myself from three years ago, I would welcome his friendship but not engage in a romantic relationship with him. I should have fought for my ex or followed him to where he was from and left it at that. I was unfair to, to my ex, you know. I loved him so much that I was a coward. I was so blinded and insistent that it was his fault and didn't give him the chance. I jumped into a relationship, freshly hurt. DJ V: Wow. I am impressed with this self-admission. And it's difficult, most especially, when we reflect ourselves and acknowledge that we made a mistake. But that's progress. Our next song is 'Barely Breathing' by Duncan Sheik. This is Late Night Love Talk & I am DJ V. Taehyung took a deep breath as he set up the advertisements. Will he talk to Justin? Something about him really intrigued Taehyung, but he had to be level-headed, calm, cool, and collected. Who are you kidding, Taehyung? "Hello DJ V?" "Yes, Justin, hi." "I find your voice soothing, I was wondering, do you make friends from your callers?" Jeongguk asked, somehow hopeful, beside, he's going to meet the famous DJ when they do their promotions. "I don't know, I mean, this is the first time that a caller is asking me." "Oh, is it okay if I ask to email you or chat with you?" Jeongguk further inquired. "Let's see Justin. Wow, I am honored. Let's get back on air." "Okay." DJ V: This is DJ V, and you are listening to Late Night Love Talk. Justin is with us, and he was telling us his love problem. Well, honestly, this night is full of surprises. With admissions and reflections, which I am grateful for. What do you think shall you do then? JS: I want to have a clean break and heal for a while. Give myself the chance to breathe. Maybe reach out to my ex, you know, apologize. Well, I hope it's not too late to apologize. I was really in love with him that I got to be both inconsiderate and a coward. DJ V: Yes. Heal first, then talk to the ex. Do you know how to reach out to your ex at least? SJ: I think we have a common friend still. DJ V: That's great. I mean, I am a proponent of second chances , especially when there is no cheating involved. It may be just maturity+ or maybe miscommunication. There are a lot of those. Well, will you give the guy you are talking about a chance then? SJ: I saw him kissing someone. Is that worth saving? DJ V: What I was trying to say, will you give him a chance to talk? SJ: Well, maybe I am not sure. DJ V: Well, thank you for being honest, Justin. Jeongguk stated. "Why, thank you." Taehyung smiled. He smiled because it's been a while since he had other human interactions other than his family and his work friends. He kept to himself most of the time. Well, he was not like this before. Actually, he was a social butterfly, but something about his break-up made him like this, aloof. "Hey Justin, there's only one commercial left, I have to go back on air. Thank you for reaching out and having this call with me." "Oh, for sure. It had been amazing, DJ V. Thank you." DJ V: We are on the last segment of our show. We were speaking with Justin Seagull, and this is DJ V for late night love talk. Relationships are not something to be taken lightly. It should be something that we grow with. It should be something that we are delighted about. It should be something that we look forward to at the end of the day. There may be broken promises or relationships, but if you feel that a good talk can happen, then I say go for it. There are breakups that are salvagable, and there are some that are not.
