It had been the third leg of the book tour and Taehyung and Jeongguk are arriving from Hong Kong. It had been absolutely delightful for the both of them, rekindling their love, getting to know each other once again.

It had been 6 weeks since their confession and they are still taking things except for the constant kisses, hand holding, and hugs and movie dates but as far as intimacy is concerned, they have not crossed that line just yet.

Jeongguk has been the perfect gentleman and Taehyung cannot be any happier. Of course there may be some qualm and slight hesitation not because of the lack of familiarity but because of their 4-year separation.

"Hey Tae?" Jeongguk said as he touched Taehyung ever so lightly. He had his ear phones on, napping on his shoulder. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled. He loved this feeling, of being close to Jeongguk. "We are landing soon." Jeongguk said.

Taehyung tried his best to stretch his long legs in the cramped space but he still won't complain because travels with Jeongguk was absolutely nice. They are rediscovering each other at other places with beautiful sights which make it more special.

After Tokyo, he had been to book tours at Osaka, Singapore, Jakarta and their most recent stop was at Hong Kong. Every new sight, new experience for Taehyung became much more special with Jeongguk in charge of the book tours.

"Tae?" Jeongguk turned to him. "Yes Kookie?" "Did the publishing house get you a room again tonight to stay in Seoul?" Jeongguk asked. "Yes they did." Taehyung said, putting his headphones in his backpack. "Tell Namjoon you won't need it next time." Jeongguk said.

Taehyung looked at him with a questioning look, "And why is that Mr Jeon?" "Maybe, just maybe, you'd consider staying in my flat instead." Jeongguk said, licking his lips nervously. Taehyung smiled, sucking in his lips, is it time to take the next step? It had been a long time.

"I will think about it." Taehyung said, looking outside his window, staring at the clouds, blushing. Jeongguk touched his shoulder lightly, "Am I being too forward?" Taehyung shook his head, "I am just surprised with your request." His cheeks turning redder.

Jeongguk clasped his hand against his and looked deep into his eyes, "whatever you are comfortable Tae, it's just that I miss the cuddles during sleep. Having you back in my arms again, well it has been sublime and for me to wrap my arms around you when we sleep will be heaven."

"How about cancelling my room next time when we go to Taipei and I just stay with you?" Taehyung suggested which made Jeongguk smile. "Okay, I will take care of that." Jeongguk responded happily.

"Are you ready for MBC anniversary gala tonight?" Jeongguk asked. "You are invited too right?" Taehyung asked. "Yes but you have your book signing at Daegu tomorrow afternoon." Jeongguk said. "What time will we leave tomorrow if the gala is until midnight?"

"We'll just leave early." Taehyung said. "Do you want to leave together or do you need to take care of things in the office?" Taehyung asked as he put his chair in the upright position ready for landing. "I may have some things to take care of but I will let you know."

They exited the airport with Namjoon and Seokjin already waiting in the arrival area. "Hyungs, you should not have." Taehyung said. "Yes, we can grab a taxi or a ride share." Jeongguk responded.

"Ah, we insist. I am just excited I was instrumental with you getting back together." Namjoon said. "Nope, nope, nope." Seokjin threw a angry glare at Namjoon. "What?" Namjoon asked. "It's all my brilliant idea. Stop grabbing the credit." Seokjin said laughing.

Taehyung smiled at Seokjin who had been a great friend this past few weeks. When the laughter subsided and they got in the SUV. Taehyung looked at the both of them and asked, "Did my employment invite you to their gala?"

"Yes, we are going. Do you want to go together?" Namjoon asked. "I have to leave early, because my boss Wooshik and the other radio jockeys are going to be there from all over the country, so yeah, my presence was requested to come earlier." Taehyung said.

Jeongguk was quiet, pretending to play with his phone. His thoughts and emotions were all over the place. Do they need to attend this gala? Taehyung noticed Jeongguk's silence, so he nudged him lightly, "are you doing okay?" Jeongguk just smiled, "a little tired."

Taehyung kissed his cheek lightly. Jeongguk grinned at him. "For you to feel better." Taehyung said. "Can we go to lunch first before dropping Taehyung off?" Jin asked loudly. Jeongguk sat up suddenly, "yes, I am hungry!"

Taehyung leaned on him, biting his nails, "is that why you are quiet? I notice you get quiet when you are hungry." He chuckled. Jin turned around, smiling brightly, seeing them sweet and comfortable, "He's always hungry ain't he?" Jeongguk grinned, "Hyung!"

---- The gala was held at Lotte Hotel Seoul. It was MBC's founding anniversary (a/n it's first air date is September actually but for the intents and purpose of this story, we are doing it in May) and it was a great event for the broadcast community in Seoul.

Taehyung was talking to Wooshik his boss about how the taped shows have been working well. "We must have something ready to do just in case, though." Woo-shik told Taehyung. "Oh, how big is a radio equipment?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"There are portable ones. The station can provide you that and maybe your own wireless router." Woo-shik thoughtfully said. "That's very smart. I like that idea." He said giving him a pat on the shoulders. Other MBC bosses started talking to Woo-shik so he excused himself.

He started walking to the lobby and saw Yoongi and Jimin taking a portrait photo. He smiled and waved excitedly at them. "Hyung!" Taehyung exclaimed. Yoongi ruffled Taehyung's hair, "nice to see you kid."

Jimin smiled widely at him, "I heard you might have gotten a love life." Taehyung laughed, "Hahaha." He turned to Yoongi, "Why are you spreading news about me?" "Only to Jimin, kid. It's nice to see you smiling." Yoongi said sincerely.

Taehyung stretched his neck to see if Jeongguk already arrived but he has not yet. "Excuse me, I will just go to the restroom." Taehyung told Yoongi and Jimin.

He was walking when Seojoon and Hyungsik just finished taking their photo. "Kim Taehyung!" Seojoon called. Taehyung closed his eyes, dreading this moment. He forgot Seojoon is a broadcast journalist. He turned around and smiled at the both of them. "It's been a long time!"

"Hey guys, nice to see you together." Taehyung just gave them a polite smile. Seojoon interlaced his finger with Hyungsik and looked at Taehyung, "It's been a process." "I see, care to elaborate?" Taehyung already controlling his anger.

Seojoon touched Taehyung's arm gently, "It had been a process because we realized it after Jeongguk and I..." "Yeah I know about it. Why did you have to string Jeongguk along?" Taehyung spoke to Seojoon frankly, they have been best friends in the past.

"I know and I am sorry. I should not have." Seojoon said. Hyungsik then spoke, "It was my fault too Taehyung." Taehyung looked at Hyungsik exasperatedly, "Why is that?" "If I became honest with Seojoon in the first place then he and Jeongguk should not have happened."

"Calling all staff members, your presence is requested in the ballroom." An announcement came through the speakers. Taehyung just shook his head. "I have to go." "Taehyung I am really sorry," Seojoon said. Taehyung just shrugged.

Jeongguk just arrived with Namjoon and Seokjin at the same time the announcement requested all the MBC staff member to go inside the ballroom. "Hyung, why do you have to be so slow, I wasn't able to see Taehyung!" Jeongguk groaned as they walked inside the lobby.

"Dr Kim!" someone called out. Namjoon stiffened, giving Jeongguk a knowing look. "Hi Dr Jung," Namjoon nodded. "Hey doctor, what are you doing here?" Jin said smiling brightly at him. "Just checking out. I saw you and I just wanted to say hi." Hoseok said.

"Oh, wait, please meet Namjoon from Korea Publishing Association." Jin said. "And Jin's boyfriend." Namjoon added holding out his hand to Hoseok. "Nice to meet you. Listen I have to go. It's nice seeing Dr Kim." Hoseok said as he turned around and waved goodbye.

"Wow," Jeongguk said with wide eyes as they walked toward the ballroom. "We get a warm whiff of drama already." He said. Namjoon chuckled. "You got that right." Because the moment they entered, Seojoon turned his head and met his eyes and waved at him.

Taehyung was listening to the speech looking bored. Where the hell is Jeon Jeongguk? He had already seen Seojoon and Hyungsik and he was particularly very annoyed already and with Jeongguk taking longer, at this point, he started to become more irritable.

He finally saw Jeongguk entering the ballroom and he smiled. Relieved that he's already here and that his boredom would dissipate, especially when Jeongguk is around. 'What's gotten into you Kim Taehyung?' He thought.

But his smile slowly disappeared from his lips when he saw Seojoon approach Jeongguk. He cannot just stand up and go to him, well, because he was in the front and sitting with some of the directors, well, because they were happy with his book launch.

Park Hyo-shin was then introduced and his eyes immediately turned to Jeongguk who was nowhere to be seen. He should have just agreed with Jeongguk and not attend this gala. Everything is turning bad every minute. He doesn't need any drama right now.

"How come you are not returning my calls?" Seojoon asked Jeongguk as they stepped outside of the ballroom, with Hyungsik standing 10 feet behind. "Seojoon, you cheated on me, why should I call you?" Jeongguk looked at him incredulously.

"What are you talking about?" Seojoon said. "The day I told you we were done was the day I saw you pick up Hyungsik and kissed on the lips." Jeongguk told him frankly, "don't worry about it, I am happy for you both." "You are what?" Hyungsik approached Jeongguk.

"I. am. happy. for. you. both." Jeongguk emphasized. He then looked at Seojoon and told him as honestly as he could, "You and I should have not gotten together in the first place Joon." Seojoon nodded, "I know."

"That doesn't mean we are okay though." Jeongguk said, "you still cheated on me." Seojoon looked at the ground & nodded, "I understand." Hyungsik then told Jeongguk, "I am sorry, man." "You should have snatched him away in the beginning hyung. I know you liked him back then."

They were interrupted by the applause from the ballroom. "I should go back inside." Jeongguk said. "Yeah, Taehyung is inside." Seojoon sincerely smiled at him. "Yeah, I know." Jeongguk answered smugly.

Jeongguk was already tired though, seeing Seojoon and Hyungsik. He didn't want his logic to be thwarted by the intense emotions starting to grow bigger by the second. Jin approached Jeongguk, "What's up bun?" "Hyung, I..." Jeongguk looked at Jin. "Are you overwhelmed, upset, worried, angry?" Jin asked. "I don't know, it's weird hyung. Some thing tells me I have to be here but then again, I shouldn't, does that make sense?" Jeongguk looked at Jin, then they were joined by Namjoon. "Gukkie, what time are you leaving for Daegu?" Namjoon asked Jeongguk. "I was planning to leave with Taehyung." Jeongguk said looking at Park Hyo-shin approaching Taehyung, giving him a tight hug. He then looked at Namjoon, "why, what's up?" "Taehyung, you came." Hyo-shin said as he walked towards him and gave him a hug. Taehyung just smiled, his eyes moving in all direction, looking for the man he was expecting to see tonight. He saw the back of Jeongguk's head walking out of the hotel. Taehyung took the phone in his pocket and furrowed his eyebrows even more, what the heck is happening? Where the hell are you going, Jeon Jeongguk? "You owe me a drink Taehyung," Hyo-shin stated after the hug. "Oh, I am so sorry sunbaenim, I have an early day tomorrow. I can't." Taehyung said, "maybe some other time, please?" "Okay," Hyo-shin smiled. Taehyung turned around and walked away. He hurried to the lobby doors to see if he can catch Jeongguk. He doesn't know what Jeongguk had seen but if he saw him hugging Hyo-shin and he got jealous, Taehyung is not allowing him to walk out of his life once again.

They have suffered so much in the past already and they deserve their happiness and right now, Taehyung is running after him.
