It was fun for him since it gave him peace. And since he loved music so much, he felt that he could communicate better +

through his music. When words fail, music speaks. Kim Taehyung learned that as a child from learned from Hans Christian Andersen. He learned to love music as he grew up without a television but the songs from the radio and being in a household of four generations.

He knew how to listen to all kinds of genre: classical, jazz, bossanova, rock n roll, sophistipop, house, rock n roll, metal, alternative, to name a few. His passion for music did not resound by making them, although he knows he could sing, but instead he learned to share them,

express them through his radio show. “Hey DJ V! Great set!” Min Yoongi, DJ Agust D smiled at him. "Hi, hyung! Are you excited to start your morning show?" Taehyung asked as he stepped out of the booth.

"I don't know if The Early Morning Breeze with Agust D sounds good enougg compared to Beat the Morning Rush with DJ V." "Come on, hyung! It sounds great!" Taehyung said giving him a quick pat on the back. "What are your plans for the weekend?" Yoongi asked Taehyung.

"I have to go through the list of callers for my first love talk for my first episode." Taehyung said as he wore his back pack. "Oh yeah." Yoongi said as he leafed through the pages of songs in front of him. "I am doing the same for Monday, so I wish you good luck!"

Taehyung stepped out of MBC Radio and was surprised to see someone familiar with flowers. "Hey, Jimin hyung, how are you?" Taehyung asked as he went up to hug him "Is Agust D at the radio station?" "Yeah, he's there." Taehyung smiled. "When did you arrive?"

"Last night. I took the last train from Seoul." Jimin said. "Okay, then, I have to go." "Hey Tae tae?" "Yes?" "It's nice to see you. I am sorry it didn't work out for you and Bogummy" Taehyung gave him a tight lipped smile. "We were friends, that's all."

---- Taehyung looked at the survey form and saw hundreds of people seeking advice and as meticulous as he is, he read them one by one. He chose them one by one not necessarily wanting to choose the best one but he wanted to choose someone who he thinks

Taehyung perked up. He thought that this would be definitely the best first letter to feature his first episode of Late Night Love Talk with DJ V. He felt this guy Kim SJ. He empathized with his confusion. Was he led on? Was there really an interest?

Or was it just merely friendship? He sent an email to their public relation officer, Choi Wooshik and attached sent a copy of the letter of Kim SJ. Afterwards, he sent an email to Kim SJ confirming the selection of his form.

---- Monday came fast and Taehyung was able to choose six more stories to feature on his radio show. He sent four more emails during the weekend and placed draft emails for the last two just in case one or two of the four were not available.

He was busy perusing through his favorite love song playlist and carefully curated them, choosing the best songs to feature for each night.

He looked outside his apartment window. It was Sunday and the sun was already setting. The sky was emitting a purplish orange glow, creating the perfect mood to start his week.

He was already used to being alone after the so many years of breaking up with his one and only true love, Jeon Jeongguk. How wonderful it was to be with him. He cannot forget his first love but did he forget about him? Maybe.

The last time Taehyung had heard about him was when he proposed to his former bestfriend. He frowned. Was it intentional? Were they cheating on him before he left Seoul? He frowned maybe this isn't time to wallow on his miseries. He will keep the pain of his heartbreak.

After all these years, he still lives in his own bubble, refusing to face the pain of his past. Sigh. How could he? Because in the first place, he was the one who left Jeongguk. He looked at his watch and the once purplish sky had now turned into a rich velvety blue.

A velvety blanket where millions of stars quietly hung. Stars that kept a constant watch of his life. Stars that somehow light the darkness that surrounded him. He looked at his phone and took a look the time 11:36 and with a pang of loneliness, stared at his wallpaper.

He never had the strength to change his wallpaper after all these years, because well, it is the last picture he has. A picture of them both after they celebrated Taehyung's birthday. It was the only picture left when the rest were already deleted. 'Snap out of it Tae.'

He said to himself. He stretched and decided to call it a day. He lazily walked towards his bathroom and stared at himself. "Forever in your favorite white tee huh, Taehyung?" He said to himself. It is his favorite well maybe because it was a gift from someone special.

He washed his face then brushed his teeth. He was ready to surrender the worries of his heart with a peaceful slumber but is it peaceful if he is not in peace with his past? He turned on his moodlamp and stared at the calming lights with the sound of rain in the background.

He surrendered to the calmness that surrounded him as he closed his eyes and fell asleep. ----

The next evening he arrived early at the station in order to prepare his playlist for the night. He made sure that the transitions were okay and the advertisements he would be playing. Essentially, he would talk to his caller for five minutes, play a love song for 3-5 minutes.

Advertisements that would run for maybe 5-6 minutes. Essentially, he would play talk with Seokjinssi 5-6 times at the most. At 9 pm, he called Kim Seokjin. DJ V: Hello Seokjinssi, this is DJ V KSJ: DJ V ssi, good evening. I am so happy you chose my story for your first episode.

DJ V: You have a good story to tell Seokjinssi. KSJ: Seokjin will do. DJ V: What do you want me to call you for tonight's episode? KSJ: You can call me RJ tonight. DJ V: RJ? KSJ: Yes, RJ as in Radio Jin. DJ V: Alright. What do you want to talk about?

At 9:35, "I guess that is all for now, don't hang up and after I played my two songs, I will talk to you, that would be around 10 after the hour." KSJ: Okay, DJ V. Thank you. Taehyung hurried to his booth and prepared his playlist and his song.

With 20 mins left, he stood up and went to the break room to get his bottle of water and his matcha tea latte from the refrigerator, something that he could sip throughout the night. He placed all his essentials in his radio booth and went to the restroom.

He returned to his booth 15 minutes until he began and started preparing his radio equipment. He combs his hair with his fingers and took a deep breath. This is it. First episode.

"Good evening to all the listeners of Late Night Love Talk. This is DJ V and I would like to welcome you to the show's very first episode. I am excited to bring to you love songs that would soothe the night as you accompany before going to bed or maybe on your way home.

So before anything else and before talking about the program for the night, I would like to feature Mikrokosmos by BTS as our first song. Again, this is DJ V for Late Night Love Talk."

DJ V: Hello, Seokjin? Are you there? KSJ: Yes, I am here. DJ V: To recap our program, I am going to read your letter and then I will welcome you. Okay? KSJ: Yes! Perfect. DJ V: Thank you again for doing this.

Taehyung played the first ad, maybe around 5 minutes long as he took out his phone and readied it to read the letter. After the advertisement, he pressed his microphone on and spoke.

"The first letter I will be reading tonight is from someone named RJ and I am going to read the letter he initially sent to the station." Taehyung reads the fervently yet softly as it is indeed a late night show.

DJ V: The letter sender is here with us tonight, everyone meet RJ. KSJ: Good evening everyone. DJ V: Before we discuss the specifics of your letter, I feel like this song is perfect for your situation, well some parts of it. Everyone, please listen to Seesaw by BTS Suga.

After three commercials... DJ V: RJ, so we read your letter and I was wondering, what made you write your love problem for our Late Night Love Talk show? KSJ: I have been listening to you DJ V and I feel you are very sensible to talk to. DJ V: Ah, thank you. DJ V: So, let's talk about you. Did Hope, was it Hope? KSJ: Yes, it's Hope. DJ V: When did you find out that you genuinely liked him? KSJ: Well, during the project. We were talking about our personal lives and he started talking about his breakup. DJ V: and then? KSJ: We started texting and talking. And well I became a confidante and I was having problems with my ex at that time too. DJ V: I see, so is it safe to say that you found solace with Hope? KSJ: Yeah, you can say that. DJ V: And when you first went out, was he still in a relationship? KSJ: Trying to work things out, I guess. DJ V: And how about you? KSJ: Well I was on a break. Because your boyfriend cheated on you? DJ V: I mean not to discount your feelings for Hope, but how hurt were you when you broke up with your ex. KSJ: I was really not hurt, well maybe because I knew what's coming. I was just maybe waiting myself to do it. DJ V: So you broke up with him? KSJ: I told him, I wanted a break, maybe to regroup. DJ V: Let's talk about the part of the letter where you said that you thought Hope was jealous? KSJ: yeah, I was talking to a friend and he just there, all the time. DJ V: Do you think maybe he was just curious. KSJ: Maybe. DJ V: Maybe, yes, of course and I have a song for you, I feel the desire with both of you so let's listen to Undisclosed Desires by Muse. KSJ: No, because after two Fridays, he brought her to our usual hang out. DJ V: Maybe because he was confortable? KSJ: They were holding hands and very close to each other and he was still looking for me as if seeking permission. DJ V: And what did you do? KSJ: I left. DJ V: And have you cleared the air with Hope? KSJ: I blocked him (chuckles nervously). DJ V: Wow, well we do wonder with Hope constantly looking for you, maybe you are thinking if you ever crossed his mind? KSJ: Yes, I do. After four commercials, Taehyung looked at the clock and saw that it was his final set... DJ V: We are back and this is DJ V with our very first guest RJ for our very first episode of Late Night Love Talk. So RJ, right now, I wanna know, what is it that you want to do? KSJ: I wanna know if I can do anything with Hope or if it is too late? DJ V: I always think that hope springs eternal and love will always find a way. Maybe you should unblock him and gather enough courage to reach out to him. Because at the end of the day, you will never know+ if you don't ask, if you don't talk. (Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed, 'are you talking about yourself Kim Taehyung?' he wonders.) Love is a two way street and somehow, it would be amazing if you find out from the person the reason for his actions. I know it's a lot to think about,+ but you shared an intimate moment and somehow that moment can warrant a conversation.
